SAMURAI HEAD-HUNTERS Producer and Co-Writer Sebastian Peiter is Managing Director of PACT registered UK production and distribution company Urban Canyons, which has a track record of producing and distributing the long-running TV series URBANATION; sold to over 20 broadcasters across the globe. After working as an in-house TV Producer for the BBC Arts department, Sebastian Peiter completed the 'Building the Creative Business' course at London Business School. As a result, he launched Manchester based Urban Canyons in 2006. In 2011, Sebastian Peiter raised the finance, produced and delivered on time and on budget the History co-pro NINJA SHADOW WARRIORS.

John Wate / Director & Writer

SAMURAI HEAD-HUNTERS Director and Co-Writer John Wate is a fluent Japanese speaker with an impressive track record for long form documentaries for Nat Geo, Discovery, BBC, ZDF and Arte. John directed and co-wrote the previous Urban Canyons History production NINJA SHADOW WARRIORS. After studying Documentary Film Making at Munich Film School, John Wate went to Japan and is currently living and working in Tokyo since 1998. He worked on numerous TV documentaries, films and commercials as Director, Camera Operator and Editor. His BOW OF THE SAMURAI film was voted top 30 National Geographic Documentary of the Year.

Richard Melman / Executive Producer

Former AETN Europe Channel Director for History, Bio, Crime & Investigation and Military History, Richard Melman, is Exec Producer of SAMURAI HEAD-HUNTERS. The internationally experienced Manager and Director has a successful track record in the Creative Industries. Richard is specialising in new business strategy combining creative flair with financial and technical expertise. Richard Melman also guided Urban Canyons' first History production NINJA SHADOW WARRIORS to a successful delivery.

Jan Tilman Schade & Klaus Wagner / Composers

Jan and Klaus live and work in Berlin. While Klaus is heavily involved in the production of the "17 Hippies" band project, Jan prefers the countryside outside Berlin where he set up a recreation centre for artists. Jan Tilman Schade composed and performed music for German film and theatre productions including "Flying - Confessions of a Free Woman" (2005), "Four Minutes" (2006), "Kinshasa Symphony" (2010), "My Reincarnation" (2011) and "Venice Syndrome" (2012). Klaus supported Jan in creating the impressive soundtrack for NINJA SHADOW WARRIORS.

Andrew Baker / Legal Affairs

Andrew Baker is the founder of Rights TV, the UK's leading specialist media rights consultancy, which represents clients spanning all genres of TV production and exploitation. Andrew has extensive experience in factual and documentary production and has worked for numerous factual producers including Darlow Smithson, Pioneer and Raw. As well as financing and exploitation, Andrew and his team also advised on strategic and commercial issues for SAMURAI HEAD-HUNTERS.
