Sebastian Peiter / Producer & Co-Writer
NINJA Producer and Co-Writer Sebastian Peiter is Managing Director of PACT registered UK production and distribution company Urban Canyons, which has a track record of making long-running TV series selling across the globe. After working as an in-house TV Director/Producer for the BBC Arts department in 1998, Sebastian became one of the two partners, who secured the URBANATION youth culture TV series from Swiss state broadcaster SRF, which sold to over 20 broadcasters including National Geographic, Discovery Asia, Zee TV, Globosat and helped to launch Current TV in the States. In 2006, Sebastian Peiter completed the 'Building the Creative Business' course at London Business School. As a result, Sebastian launched Manchester based "Urban Canyons". In 2011, Sebastian Peiter completed raising the finance for the one hour History co-pro NINJA.
John Wate / Director & Co-Writer
NINJA Director and Co-Writer John Wate is a fluent Japanese speaker with an impressive track record for long form documentaries for National Geographic, Discovery, BBC, NDR, ZDF and Arte. His last History documentary "Sword of the Samurai" was screened on US prime time slot NOVA. Another of his programmes, "Bow of the Samurai", was voted top 30 National Geographic Documentary of the Year. After studying Documentary Film Making at Munich Film School, John Wate went to Japan and is currently living and working in Tokyo since 1998. He worked on numerous TV documentaries, films and commercials as Director, Camera Operator and Editor.
Richard Melman / Executive Producer

The internationally experienced Manager and Director with a successful track record in the Creative Industries, is specialising in new business strategy; providing creative flair with financial and technical expertise. Jan Tilman Schade / Composer
Jan Tilman Schade lives and works in Berlin. He composes and performs music for German film and theatre productions including the "Kinshasa Symphony" (2010) "Four Minutes" (2006), "Black Box BRD" (2002 ) and international productions such as "Flying - Confessions of a Free Woman" (2005), "My Life as a Fairy Tale" (2001) and "My Reincarnation" (2011). Currently, Jan is engaged in building a recreation centre for artists.
